Clinical Supervision Services

Supervision for therapists working with children, teenagers and adults.

How online counselling for children and young people works

Why

Why choose me?

I am a qualified Clinical Supervisor (Level 6, NCPS Accredited course) with a specialism in working with children, teenagers and young adults.

I offer supervision to trainee, newly qualified and more experienced counsellors working with children, teenagers, young adults and adults. I believe, strongly, that supervision is a mutual and collaborative process, and to that end I offer a warm, respectful and safe environment so that you can feel supported in your work with your clients.

How

How do I work?

I offer supervision face-to-face from my practice in the centre of Reading, Berkshire, online via video call, or over the phone.

Technology today offers us the opportunity to connect safely and securely online using any device that has camera and audio capabilities. It is an effective platform that provides invaluable support when other commitments or distance makes attending in person difficult.

Whether online or in-person, we will hold sessions either fortnightly or monthly arranged in advance. The BACP recommends 1.5 hours of supervision each month.

How counselling can help children and young people

Why have supervision?

Supervision provides counsellors and psychotherapists with regular and ongoing opportunities to reflect in depth about all aspects of their practice in order to work as effectively, safely and ethically as possible.
